MISINFORMATION

  • We have recently learned that someone is telling people that CoconutOil-Online is a distributor for Tropical Traditions. I would like to set the record straight by saying that CoconutOil-Online is not affiliated in any way with Tropical Traditions. It never has been and never will be, and we have never even sold the same type of coconut oil.  The only virgin coconut oil which we offer is Coconut Oil Supreme™, a premium virgin oil produced by a unique method unlike that used by any other coconut oil producer. In fact, I have not tasted any other coconut oil which would have inspired me to put this web site together and to want to make the oil available to others. The spread of this misinformation is apparently a misguided attempt to confuse potential customers and lead them to believe that Coconut Oil Supreme™ is just like the other coconut oils available in the marketplace. As anyone who has tried Coconut Oil Supreme™ knows, this is definitely not the case.
     
  • Apparently as a result of the word getting out that the process used to produce Coconut Oil Supreme™ does in fact produce a unique and superior quality oil, a number of companies are now marketing coconut oil which they claim is produced using the centrifuge process. I have received numerous offers to supply us with "centrifuged" oil, some from individuals who probably don't know what a centrifuge is and some from companies with color brochures who claim to be using a centrifuge process. In fact one company claiming to sell a centrifuged oil sent me samples of their coconut oil. It is not a bad oil, but it is not even in the same league with Coconut Oil Supreme™. The proprietary equipment and technology used to produce Coconut Oil Supreme™ is unique to the facility which produces this oil.

This is just another case of "let the buyer beware." Anyone can say anything (and unfortunately many people are willing to say anything if it results in a sale) but just saying it doesn't make it true. As the old saying goes: "The proof of the pudding is in the eating." If you have tried Coconut Oil Supreme™ and compared it with any other coconut oil you know that the other oils are not the same, no matter what claims are made for them.
